vintage art deco beaded handbag, birks made in france.

Art deco period (1930-1940) . It has been well taken care of and shows no apparent signs of age. Black glass beads with a metallic shine to them. Beadwork is in pristine condition. Lined with cream colored satin, with a tag that reads "Birks, made in France". Birks is a reputable high end dealer of well made goods. This bag was imported from france, and probably  purchased at some high end department store such as saks fifth avenue. It has been stored properly all these years and seems as though it was never used. The frame of bag is a good example of art deco period style, with multi colored glass bead flowers delicately decorating the clasp, as well as glass flower designs . Has a brass  chain attached to it. its a rare piece and would make an excellent addition to any avid purseblovers collection. Msg me if you would like more pictures or have any questions
