Featuring Premium "climbing grade" suede for comfort and durability. Lace-to-toe adjustable lacing system for superior trail fit. Stability plate tuned for approach hiking provides under-foot support. Tri-zoned comfort footbed with supportive heel cup design. Protective "sticky" rubber toe bumper for durability. Exclusive Vibram sole with "sticky" rubber forefoot for better grip.
Although these shoes are designed for hiking, I'd recommend avoiding steep rocky terrain. But they're great on flat trails & concrete. The stability plate does an excellent job of virtually eliminating any twisting/torque. The sticky rubber provides a virtually non-slip grip on virtually any type of surface. Purchased in early 2006.
