The JACKET can be worn several ways. There is an outer jacket and an inner jacket. The inner jacket zips to the outer jacket for extra warmth on super cold days. The inner jacket is reversible with either the fleece side on the outside (bright green) or the water resistant layer on the outside (mushroom print...and this keeps that fleece on the inside next to your little ones skin for extra warmth and comfort). The sleeves of the inner jacket zip off for it to be used as a vest alone or to help free up the arms if doubling the jacket...so the double layer jacket would have extra thickness around the body and not on the arms...allowing for a little extra arm movement! The vest is also reversible with the green fleece as the outer covering or the water resistant mushroom print as the outer covering with the fleece on the inside. The outer layer can be worn by itself, it is water resistant and has an elasticized waist to help keep the cold air from creeping up. Also, I have found from having these multi-style jackets that between the inner jacket (which of course is a little smaller) and the outer jacket (a little larger)...you get a little more growing room out of the jacket. Both layers by themselves are great spring/ fall type jackets for those not so terribly cold days. Oh! the inner hood buttons to the outer hood so that they are attached and don't flop independently!

The snowpants are WONDERFUL. They have the water resistant material on the exterior and the interior is lined with soft and warm fleece in the same aqua color as the exterior. The sides under the armpits have a fairly large ribbed elastic (material covered) area to help keep cold and snow from getting down into the snowpants. The back has an elasticized area in the small of the back also to help keep cold out. The straps are adjustable (2 different level snaps) and the bottoms of the legs have the ribbed elastic cuffs underneath the outer layer to help keep that snow and cold from getting up the leg.

The long-sleeve onesie is in perfect condition, with the embroidered mouse & mushroom and a soft collar.

The matching hat has a nice warm fleece exterior and a cotton knit lined interior (the interior is of the green color like the fleece of the jacket). It has under the chin straps with velcro to keep it on. The top can cuff up or roll down depending on how much face you want covered.

The mittens are fleece with a cotton lining. They are nice and thick and have the faux leather grips on the inside of the mittens to help those adventurous little ones from losing their grip! Being a SMALL instead of a 12 to 24 month size is nice, I think, it gives a little extra room for the hands. One of the mittens has an embroidered mushroom with a cute mouse peeking out from the top of the mushroom...this cute embroidery is also found on the pocket of the green jacket/vest and on the hat.

Well, there you have it! If you have never had one of these multiple use coats, you will love it. They are WONDERFUL! This coat is in VERY GOOD condition  and the snowpants were worn only a few times so it is in EXCELLENT condition. There aren't any flaws with the exception of a little dinginess on the inside fleece (where grip section is) of the mittens.
