This is a very high quality Pioneer A-443 stereo amplifier.

This amp is in very nice condition, and sounds excellent.
I was told that the "A-series" was Pioneer's attempt at an "audiophile-standard" quality. It has a very solid build-quality and many high-end elements: big 5-way binding posts for the speaker connections, pre-out/ main-in jacks, to separate the preamp and power amp sections, and a minimalist design with emphasis on sound quality.

This amp is a big step up from most Pioneer stuff, and is sure to satisfy the more demanding listener!
