1991 GMC Jimmy SLE for sale - $1100 obo2 door, 4x4 automatic with a 4.3 L V6 motor and the Aircare won't expire until this time next year!
It has been my daily driver for the last 5 1/2 years and has been quite dependable. The motor and tranny have been 100%. The rest of the truck got a fresh oil change, new windshield, new battery, new pitman arm (steering part), new tailpipe and muffler & a spare set of steel rims with decent A/T tires on them for the coming winter. The brake fluid was replaced as well and the brakes have just been checked: front 90% and 75% rear.
Additionally, it is fully loaded inside including a CD stereo, a keyless entry 3 point immobilizer, tinted windows in the back, chrome running boards, bush plates underneath, and the body, paint and interior are in pretty good shape despite it's age and mileage. It has 380,000 kms(primarily highway), starts everytime and is road ready. My asking price is $1100 obo.
If someone wanted to make it 100%, it would require the following:
- Shocks & ball joints should be replaced. This would improve both the handling and fuel efficiency.
- Some rust repair, particularly right behind the doors (typical of these trucks). Some water gets in the cab due to this breach so it would be nice to get the body work done. I know a reasonable body man/painter if that helps.
- The driver-side window and speedometer are experiencing electrical trouble.
- Some very minor and inexpensive repairs to items like a bolt on the driver seat, the hinge on the glove box door, the lid on the center console and gas lifts for the rear glass.
